Avoid perfumes, colognes and skin care products with perfumes that may irritate your skin.

Skincare during and after birth

  • Avoid very hot baths or showers.

  • Keep your bath or shower short.

Use mild soaps and apply moisturiser all over the body immediately after a bath or shower.

Apply a creamy, fragrance free moisturiser immediately after bath, so your skin stays moisturised throughout the day.

Outdoor skincare

  • Protect your skin from the sun.

  • Apply a broad spectrum, water resistant sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher everyday.

  • Seek shade when you are outside.

  • Wear clothing that protects your skin from the sun.

  • Wear gloves while doing housework or gardening.
